Horizont Europa und MSCA fördern in ganz Europa zahlreiche Initiativen im Ausbau von Hochschulbildung und in der Finanzierung von Forschungsprojekten und Mobilität von Nachwuchsforschenden über Länder, Sektoren und sogar Disziplinen hinweg.

Die Teilnahme am MSCA ist nicht nur sehr kompetitiv, sondern auch recht komplex in Hinblick auf die vielen verschiedenen Bewerbungsrichtlinien, Aspekte der Budgetplanung, Netzwerkleitlinien und erforderlichen Begleitdokumente. Ziel unserer Workshop-Reihe ist es daher, die Beschäftigten an den verschiedenen Standorten der Hochschule Trier auf den Bewerbungsprozess vorzubereiten und somit die Chancen auf die Einwerbung wichtiger Drittmittel zu erhöhen.

Um die Vernetzung und die gemeinsame Antragstellung zu fördern, sollen die Forschenden die Möglichkeit erhalten, zu diesen Workshops auch universitäre Forschungspartner aus dem Ausland einzuladen. Flankierend hierzu werden Kontaktreisen von Forschenden zur Entwicklung internationaler Forschungsprojekte in der Großregion (Frankreich, Luxemburg, Belgien) und am Oberrhein (Schweiz) gefördert.

Networking is a cornerstone of successful internationalization. Gain insights into effective networking strategies, with a particular focus on organising international research collaborations and expanding your professional network across different countries and institutions. We focus on research collaborations and the development of international networks.

Lecturer: Dr. Elisabeth Holuscha holds a PhD in Organizational Sociology (University of Marburg) and has extensive experience in internationalizing academic structures. She has worked with science organizations to develop strategies, secure third-party funding, and build global partnerships. Her career includes leadership roles at Project Management Jülich (PtJ) and TH Köln’s International Affairs office, with assignments in New York and São Paulo for UAS7. Additionally, she has collaborated with DAAD in international higher education marketing and served as a reviewer, speaker, and moderator in numerous academic forums.

In this workshop, you will learn how to submit a successful application to a funding body. Focus will be laid on Horzion Europe, the current funding programme for research and innovation of the European Commission. This includes the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions with its Postdoctoral Fellowships and Doctoral Networks.

Lecturer: Nicole Klein-Stocké, Innovation Manager and Fundraising Expert. As former business consultant for fundraising, Nicole already submitted successfully various project applications in different funding programmes.
