Global Conference on Everyday Life, Gender and Sexuality: Expanding Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Perspectives (ELGS-OTOS)

Trier University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the University of Batangas (Philippines) and the International Network on Sexualities and Genders within Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science (SexGen-OTOS) is organising the Global Conference on Everyday Life, Gender and Sexuality: Expanding Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Perspectives (ELGS-OTOS) on 25th and 26th October 2024, from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm (CEST) each day. ELGS-OTOS is an international event for occupational therapists, occupational scientists, professionals from health and social care, and everyone interested in the areas of everyday experiences, occupations, gender, and sexuality. This free online conference will feature two keynote speeches, six presentations, and two panel discussions. The international speakers will present on topics from research, education, and practice, applying their diverse perspectives on gender and sexuality from the fields of occupational therapy, occupational science, and other health and social care professions.

Die Hochschule Trier veranstaltet gemeinsam mit der University of Batangas (Philippinen) und dem International Network on Sexualities and Genders within Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science (SexGen-OTOS) am 25. und 26. Oktober 2024 jeweils von 12:00 bis 15:30 Uhr die Global Conference on Everyday Life, Gender and Sexuality: Expanding Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Perspectives (ELGS-OTOS). ELGS-OTOS ist eine internationale Veranstaltung für Ergotherapeut:innen, Betätigungswissenschaftler:innen, Professionen aus dem Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen und Interessierte, die sich mit den Themen Alltagserfahrungen, Betätigungen, Geschlecht und Sexualität beschäftigen. Diese kostenlose Online-Konferenz umfasst zwei Keynote-Vorträge, sechs Vorträge und zwei Podiumsdiskussionen. Die internationalen Vortragenden referieren zu Themen aus Forschung, Lehre sowie der Praxis und bringen dabei ihre unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf Geschlecht und Sexualität aus den Bereichen Ergotherapie, Occupational Science und anderen Gesundheits- und Sozialberufen ein.
