Symposium on Innovation and Automation in Remanufacturing

As an important event covering the latest trends in the industry, the Symposium on Innovation and Automation in Remanufacturing brought together leading experts and decision-makers to discuss innovative approaches and technologies.

Topics such as advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, circular economy, and sustainable product development took center stage. The symposium provided a platform for knowledge exchange and the promotion of collaboration between industry, research, and politics, in order to strengthen the remanufacturing sector and consolidate its role in a sustainable economy.

In the area of teaching, Prof. Dr. Vette-Steinkamp from the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, and Prof. Winifred Ijomah from the University of Strathclyde in Scottland, agreed to hold joint online lectures on the topics covered. Results have also been achieved in the area of technology transfer. Numerous participants have already registered for training and consulting courses on campus and online. Due to the great interest, the symposium will continue online at regular intervals. inferior quality, for eco-efficient smaller engineering structures such as vehicle sheds, stables, carports, production and storage facilities.
