With its concept "House of Professors: Spirit of Innovation, Joy & Diversity", Trier University of Applied Sciences is taking innovative recruitment and qualification paths over the next six years. During the project period from 2021 to 2027, Trier University of Applied Sciences will introduce innovative qualification and recruitment paths for future professors in all departments that allow close cooperation with external partners: five tandem professorships, in which researchers work proportionately in companies and the university, nine focus professorships with special freedom for research and transfer, four family professorships, and seven cooperative doctorates for the qualification of young researchers will be available to future applicants. Together with many stakeholders from the university, innovative measures have also been developed, such as researcher sabbaticals, the "Step In" mentoring program, and employer branding measures that specifically address the specific challenges and framework conditions of Trier University. With the slogan "House of Professors - Step into an inspiring profession and feel our spirit of innovation, joy, and diversity!"
