In the framework of the educational project, I will introduce the "HUNGARIKUM" for the first time, which, with their characteristics, uniqueness, specialness and quality, are the outstanding peak performance of Hungarians. (Paprika, Goulash, Puskás,...). I present the relationship between food quality and management. I explain the basics of GHP and GMP. I will show the basics of the HACCP system through a couple of specific examples. I will present my research areas, with particular regard to the work of my PhD students. I explain the basics of precision technologies in the food industry.
I met Dr.-Ing. Ranahansa Dasanayake at an education conference just three months before the Guest Lectureship - or even knowing about the Master’s Degree Program IMAT (International Material Flow Management) - and was immediately impressed by the breadth and vision of the degree.
My colleagues in Hungary have a long-standing good relationship with Prof. Dr. Patrick Siegfried. During their last meeting, they discussed that they would like to learn about machines and processes related to food technology. My colleagues recommended me for this visiting lectureship.
I advise other guest lecturers to agree in advance with the host institution (Department) on topics of the educational activity. Try to create a predetermined timetable.
Based on my experience abroad, I can say that it is easier to do high-quality research work in well-equipped research places. However, in any case, it is essential to establish and nurture good personal relationships.
During my stay abroad, it was an incredibly lasting experience for me to meet with Dr. Patrick Siegfried. The prior organization and precise scheduling also made me feel good.
In terms of education, both universities focus on practice-oriented education. In the field of research, both universities need to publish high-quality publications in the international environment.
For the TUAS university, my guest lecture helped me get to know Hungarian education's structure and generate new contacts. The most exciting thing about teaching abroad is that I can get to know the structure of the German education system and gain experience in this field. Communication with different researchers greatly helps plan future educational and research projects. My work as a teacher abroad contributes significantly to the foundation of international relations.
I did not encounter any challenges during my stay abroad. The program was well organized throughout.
Based on the experiences gained during my time abroad, I can better organize my educational goals at home.
