Virtual international guest lectures and foreign guest lectureships in the field of sustainability

Virtual international guest lectures by university and practice partners broaden international perspectives in teaching in a simple but very effective way. They strengthen the network of students and lecturers as well as the transsectoral exchange of knowledge. The guest lectureships in the field of sustainability at Trier University of Applied Sciences make an important contribution to the expansion of English-language teaching and international methods and are intended to provide system incentives for the internationalization of subject teaching.

International guest lectureship at the Campus of Art and Design

The American artist couple Jane Brucker and Jeremy Wasser from L.A. offered the course "Water and the susatinable Body" as part of Prof. Jörg Obergfell's interdisciplinary seminar "Real Nature is not green - Art and Nature". Students from the Design Campus and medical students from Texas worked on the topic of water in relation to the human body and sustainability during the joint workshop weeks.

Artificial Intelligence Models in climate change

In the winter semester of 2022, the Department of Computer Science welcomed guest lecturer Dr. Coroiu from Babes-Bolyai University in Romania. Dr. Coroiu gave a lecture on the topic "Artificial Intelligence Models in Climate Change".

Four-week guest lectureship at the Campus of Art and Design

At the invitation of the Dean of the Design Department, Dr. Matthias Sieveke, the Campus of Art and Design welcomed street photographer Jacques Nkinzingabo from Rwanda for a interdisciplinary guest lectureship in the summer semester of 2023.
