With us you will receive a challenging and exciting academic education that will provide you with a solid foundation in business administration that will last throughout your entire professional life and offers you interesting prospects for the future.
You can set your own priorities by choosing the specific course of study. Whether you want to deepen the core of your subject in the Business Administration degree programme; or whether you want to specifically emphasise topics such as globalisation or digitalisation in the International Business and Business Informatics degree programmes: A lot is possible with us. The Business Psychology degree programme offers the opportunity to look behind the scenes of human thought and action and to analyse behaviour in an economic environment. Studying business offers you various opportunities to get to know the content even better.
In our Master's programme in Business Management with its various specialisations, you can then specialise according to your interests and inclinations.
In addition, we teach you important practical skills during your studies, such as presentation and communication techniques, teamwork, time management, foreign language skills and scientific work.
All our degree programmes have an extremely high practical relevance. This begins with the learning content, which is consistently oriented towards the requirements of private companies, continues with practice-oriented teaching formats such as case studies, business games and project seminars and ends with the study-integrated practical project.
Furthermore, you can experience real practitioners up close and learn from them during numerous company excursions and guest lectures. This gives you valuable insights into the working world during your studies and prepares you very well for your future professional life.
We believe that it is better for most first-year students not to specialise too much too early. That's why all of our Bachelor's programmes start with a broad overview of the respective subject area. This way, you can first get to know all the long-term perspectives that your choice of study opens up for you.
But after a few semesters, when you know what interests you and what suits you, you will have a wide range of choices for example, in the fields of finance, marketing, controlling, auditing and information management. This way you can continue on your own personal path.
In the advanced Master's programme, we offer you the opportunity to choose between different specialisations and thus shape your path to the future according to your ideas.
Experience abroad can enrich you not only professionally, but also personally. Getting to know other cultures, learning new languages and making international contacts are valuable aspects that you can gain through a stay abroad.
All of our degree programmes therefore offer you corresponding opportunities, from excursions abroad to internships abroad to studying abroad.
Whatever you have in mind: We'll help you do it. For example, we have agreements with over 80 partner universities around the world, which will make your path to a foreign university much easier. And we are also happy to advise you on financing through scholarships, based on our many years of experiences in this area.
We cultivate a familial atmosphere in which students, lecturers and staff enjoy meeting each other and communicating openly. On this interpersonal basis, we work professionally towards our common goals. This includes, in particular, the success of our students, because we also see this as a common goal.
So if you have questions or specific concerns, you will always find a suitable contact person who is happy to take time for you.
Furthermore, we are happy with our lively student body (Fachschaft), which is not only a good discussion partner for all questions regarding student concerns, but also enriches the life of the department with its party-oriented activities - starting with the legendary annual pub crawl for first semester students.
Every few years, the non-profit Centre for Higher Education Development publishes its renowned CHE University Ranking in cooperation with the newspaper "Die Zeit". This ranking promises prospective students information and transparency in choosing the right study programme and location for them.
Students of the Business Administration programme are very satisfied with the general study situation at the Business School at Trier University of Applied Sciences. Likewise, top results were achieved among the universities in a national comparison, especially in the categories of supervision and study organisation, teaching and practical offers, equipment, digital teaching elements as well as support for stays abroad.
The results emerge from the CHE ranking published on 9 May in the new ZEIT Study Guide 2023/24. The university ranking, conducted by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) and published by ZEIT, is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world, with around 120,000 students surveyed. Overall, the Business School achieved a top ranking. As you can see, you are in good hands with us.
