Vita

Andrea Walkenhorst is a Professor of business informatics, especially Process Mining, at the business school of the university of applied science Trier. In this role, she is responsible for process intelligence and business process management with a focus on process mining and process performance reporting.

Before, Ms. Walkenhorst worked several years at Amazon in programs like Prime Now (delivery within 1 hour) or Amazon Fresh (online grocery shopping). As a supply chain analyst, later as a data scientist and latest as a data science manager, she was lead several projects in the area of process intelligence and process optimization.

Ms. Walkenhorst studied business mathematics at the TU Kaiserslautern (now: RPTU) and did her PhD at the faculty of informatics at the University of Trier. In her spare time, she likes traveling, photography and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
