Via the A602 to Trier:
In Trier along the banks of the Moselle to the first Moselle bridge (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke). Cross the bridge and turn right towards Bitburg/Luxembourg. After approx. 400 meters turn right to the TUAS (Hochschule Trier)
From Luxembourg or via the A64:
Take the exit Trier on the A64 and drive in the direction of Trier. After about one kilometre you will see the Trier University of Applied Sciences on your right.
There are several visitor parking spaces in front of building "X."
There are accessible parking area for people with reduced mobility in front of building A, near the main entrance. There are also parking spaces near building H and J as well as in front of building X. All these parking spaces can only be reached via restricted access roads - and are therefore mostly available. There are usually free places for visitors.
The bus stop on campus is Trier, "Hochschule Trier" or "Hochschule". It has three stops. One each at the directional lanes of Bitburger Straße (bus-stops 2 and 3). These are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The third stop - Bus Platform 1 (Bus-stop 1) is located directly in front of the main entrance of the campus, but only some of the buses stop there.
During the official lecture period there is a barrier-free bus connection every hour on line 14 from the "University campus2" (The other University in Trier, located in another side of the city) via the bus stops Balduinsbrunnen/Hauptbahnhof (Train Station), Porta Nigra and Zurlaubener Ufer to the bus stop (Bus-stop nr. 3) directly at the main entrance of the university. In the timetable of the Verkehrsverbund www.vrt-info.de, you can recognize these connections by the fact that the bus arrives at "Trier, Hochschule (Bus-stop nr. 3)" or departures.
From the bus stop at the main entrance, it is relatively easy to reach the university campus with a street crossing and a few low curbstones within 15 metres.
The university campus can be reached from both directional stops via sidewalks with an ascent of up to 8% for wheelchair users. One sticks to the sometimes narrow paths that run parallel to the streets and thus gets to the university location Schneidershof without stairs.
The timetable information of the Verkehrsverbund Region Trier is offered also in english.
