Design and Culture Days Trier

Every three years, the creative potential of the Campus of Design is presented in collaboration with the City of Trier during the Design and Culture Days. Almost all of our 1,000 students and around 80 professors, instructors and staff members from the various design departments commit their creative energies to organizing this large-scale event.

The Architecture, Gemstones and Jewelry, Interior Design, Intermedia Design, Communication Design and Fashion Design Departments all give visitors insight into their work and present outstanding design projects during this event. With numerous exhibitions, talks, installations, video mapping projections, international symposiums, an information day for prospective students and a large fashion show, the Campus of Design is able to demonstrate its role as creative leader in the Trier region.

The Design and Culture Days are a new event that will only continue to grow. Our aim as a triennial event is to promote effective networking of university development and urban development and to illuminate the potential of the cultural and creative industries in Rhineland-Palatinate.
