From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Design Campus opened its doors and offered a wide range of insights into the artistic and design degree programmes Architecture, Intermedia Design, Interior Design, Communication Design, Fashion Design and Gemstone and Jewellery.
In half-hour lectures in the auditorium, the respective professors presented their degree programmes, while pictures and videos provided an insight into studying and teaching. In the afternoon, the pupils were then able to take part in around 10 guided tours of the buildings, studios and workshops. This gave them a first impression of life on campus. Each degree programme also had its own information area, where exemplary works were exhibited - from architectural models and interactive installations to pieces of jewellery. Professors, staff and students were also available throughout the day to answer any further questions.
The Communication Design, Fashion Design and Intermedia Design degree programmes also offered portfolio advice. Many students took advantage of this valuable opportunity to optimally prepare for their future application.
The open workshops were new this year. Students were able to try out their creativity by experimenting with different printing techniques and drawing with a 3D pen.
