After the official welcome from the Presidential Board and a visit to the Market of Opportunities, where the various institutions of the university introduced themselves, the newly 86 enrolled students were welcomed by our Dean, Prof Dr Burchard, and Mr Görres. After an introduction to the department, the first-semester students were given an introduction to the platforms used by the university as part of the Study Buddy Programme, as well as an extensive tour of the campus. Finally, the students could experience a city tour and get together in the Coyote Cafe Trier, where they could get to know each other and exchange ideas.
This summer semester, we are also welcoming 12 students from Luxembourg, Spain, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea and Italy for a semester abroad to our faculty.
