Examinations in the field of electrical engineering

  1. Audit period
The examination period is determined by the examination board. In the field of
electrical engineering, the examinations of a semester currently take place within three
weeks at the end of the semester, usually in the last week of lectures and the first two
lecture-free weeks. The period for the repeat examinations extends over two weeks
and usually covers the last lecture-free week and the first lecture-free week of the
following semester. Examination days are Monday to Saturday.
  2. Exam registration
Online registration via the QIS - portal is required for all courses you wish to take
during the semester, even if no written examination is required. You must register
within the registration period. Only the final thesis and project work are not registered
in QIS. Examination registrations received outside the registration period will not be
    considered.
  3. Withdrawal from examinations due to illness and certificates
In the event of withdrawal due to illness, please submit the certificate within three
working days of the examination to the Trier University of Applied Sciences Student
Services, Building G. The certificates will not be accepted at the Departmental Office.
Please use the form "Beiblatt zur Einreichung von Attesten", which you can download
    from the following address www.hochschuletrier.
    www.hochschule-trier.de/fileadmin/Hochschule/Einrichtungen/Studienservice/Vordrucke/Beiblatt_zur_Einreichung_von_Attesten.pdf
  4. Exam results
The exam results are published in QIS and can be viewed there at any time. If your
result is (still) marked with an asterisk, this merely implies that the grading process
has not yet been formally completed because the exam can still be viewed. The
    correction itself is complete.
  5. Exam review
Once you have completed your examinations and the examination results are available,
it is possible to view your examinations. The lecturer responsible will inform you about
    the modalities.
  6. Examinations in other disciplines or subject areas
If you are taking an examination offered by another department, the regulations of
the relevant department or subject area apply to you. Please find out about this in
    good time.

Please note:
Minor changes (times and room details) to the examination schedule are possible . Please
check the current version of the examination schedule.
