The Study Serviceat the main campus is the central point of contact for all general concerns about studying. It provides information and advice on application and enrollment, study organization, study procedures and exam organization. In addition, important forms, information on current events and examination regulations are available on the homepage of the Study Service. The Study Service is divided into three work teams, each of which is assigned to specific study programmes. This means that students always have a permanent contact person during their studies. In case of special questions regarding the organization of examinations or other urgent examination matters, please contact the respective examination board. The examination boards ensure compliance with the examination regulations and decide on the recognition of achievements, the approval of examiners and assessors as well as on applications for hardship.
The international representatives of the Department of Engineering are Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter König (Mechanical Engineering) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hellmut Hupe (Electrical Engineering). In addition to the International Office, they are available as contact persons for questions regarding stays abroad during your studies. Furthermore, they are responsible for maintaining contact with our partner universities abroad.
