The professors of the Fashion Design Department have a high reputation in the international fashion industry. Through their sideline activities and via various subject-specific networks and institutions, the lecturers are involved in current specialist discourses and reflect the latest research and developments. Participation in international trade fairs, congresses, exhibitions and workshops as well as their own publication and lecture activities are important components of their academic self-image.
