The exhibition will showcase the best that Europe has to offer in terms of technically and aesthetically masterful creations. The focus is on the arts and crafts of ceramics, glass, goldsmithing, woodworking, textiles, paper, contemporary jewellery, etc. All creations where the skill lies in the mastery of the gesture. In addition to the craftsmanship, it is also important to showcase the contemporary character of these works. Today's designers are breaking away from traditional codes to question the world. New materials and techniques are added to traditional recipes to present an art form that is as modern as it is ancient, as codified as it is reactionary.
