HERBES FOLLES, HASARD ET GERMES DÉSIR
"Gardens are full of hope and promise. They offer a terrain on which to re-imagine the future and develop solutions, they reflect identities, dreams and visions. They are among the few places that allow for a subversive and creative anarchy, but also a joyful and lushly flourishing austerity. A look at this microcosm shows us a fully-fledged society that functions according to its own rules. These lungs exist in all sizes, shapes, colours and fragrances thanks to numerous players. With the sun as a faithful partner, they breathe life into them. Everything is allowed, grandiose included! We are noticing more and more clearly that green spaces have become indispensable in our urban daily lives, setting the rhythm of our paths, creating communities around urban vegetable gardens and experimenting a different model of society, an urgent vision around a project that revolves around the earth and around making. The exhibition we want to build together with you and other artists will give a place to everyone. The idea is to create a living whole that inspires everyone."
