Geosciences students cut gemstones at Campus Idar-Oberstein

Every summer, students of geosciences at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz have the opportunity to creatively work on gemstones at the Campus Gemstones and Jewellery in Idar-Oberstein within 2 weeks and thus gain a new insight into the material stone.

In exchange, Dr. Tobias Häger from the Institute for Geosciences at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz gives gemology seminars for the MFA students in Idar-Oberstein.
