BEDROCK - Works by Julia Obermaier in New Zealand

Julia Obermaier's (BFA 2016) material is stone. She cuts, grinds and polishes rough pieces of stone into small fragments. She playfully recombines these and assembles them into jewellery pieces. She uses epoxy glue and pigments that interact with the natural colour of the stones.
