The objective of the programme is to deepen the knowledge students acquired with their first degree, which provided them with a professional qualification. Through its comprehensive, modularized range of lectures and projects of various orientation, the programme allows the Bachelor programme to continue and priorities to be set in the areas of Software Engineering, Game Technology or Medical Informatics. As choosing one of the above mentioned areas of specialization is not compulsory, all students also have the possibility to acquire a general master degree of information technology. Based on the knowledge acquired in the Bachelor programme and after education in further scientific grounding, an in-depth programme will acquaint students with current research questions and topics in information technology. With this we attach great importance to a solid theoretical foundation, to the consolidation of specialist areas and the implementation of ambitious practical projects. Compared to the Bachelor programme we have added elements to consolidate theoretical knowledge and to further independent scientific work.
